Introduction
Sunday was finally a completely free day without any house viewings and we knew that Holland is going to play their first world cup match at 3pm. Seeing all the fuss about the “Oranje team” going on in the last few weeks, we where fairly sure we will have a free highway and a good chance to find a parking spot not too far from the beach. We took our green wheels car and drove to Wijk aan Zee. This is my favorite Dutch beach so far. It is less “hip” or “trendy” then for instance “Bloemendaal” but I like it because it is more children friendly, the little village is less touristy and after a nice day at the beach you can eat excellent fish there.
