Introduction
One of the things we’ve both been missing is to go to the beach. The last time we saw the ocean was in October 2005 in Portugal. Now that the sun was shining and spring officially started, we finally went to Bloemendaal aan Zee again and just enjoyed the fresh air and the rays of sunshine watching the waves. I just love Sundays like this and often think to myself, this is just what I couldn’t have living back in Berlin. It is only a 45 minutes drive by car from Amsterdam to be right at the beach.
